Applicants for the M.S. program must satisfy the general requirements of the College of Arts and Sciences which includes the GRE (General) exam and TOEFL (for non-English speaking International students). The Department of Computer Science has the following additional requirements:

A baccalaureate degree in computer science, or its equivalent. While we welcome capable students with non-computer-science degrees, some foundation courses may be required.

A supplemental application for computer science.

A statement of background and goals.

Three letters of recommendation from individuals who can evaluate the applicant's potential for graduate work in computer science.
