CSC 8220:ADVANCED COMPUTER NETWORKS

  

Brief Course Description

This course focuses on advanced topics computer networking, particularly the current and emerging research topics in network. Topics include but are not limited to network protocols, routing, basics of queueing theory, network simulation, network measurement, analysis methods, network security, wireless and optical networking. The course consists of lecture, reading, discussion and project components. Students are expected to read research papers and carry out a project which includes analysis, design, and implementation on a novel subject.
