4-th International Symposium on Bioinformatics Research and Applications

May 6-9, 2008

Department of Computer Science, Georgia State University

Atlanta, Georgia

The International Symposium on Bioinformatics Research and Applications (ISBRA) provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and results among researchers, developers, and practitioners working on all aspects of bioinformatics and computational biology and their applications. The first three editions enjoyed a great success. Full versions of selected ISBRA papers have been published in special issues of Springer LNCS Transactions on Computational Systems Biology, IEEE Transactions on NanoBioscience, and IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics.

ISBRA 2008 proceedings is published in the Springer Verlag Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics series. As in previous years, it is anticipated that a special issue of a major bioinformatics journal will be devoted to extended versions of best symposium papers.

Poster submission deadline is extended to March 28, 2008.

Registration is open. Each paper requires one FULL registration by February 19, 2008.

The 1st International Workshop on Optimal Data Mining in Gene Expression Analysis (ODGEA 2008) will be held in conjunction with ISBRA 2008, for details please visit the ODGEA 2008 website.

ISBRA 2008 will be held on May 6-9, 2008 at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA.
