5-th International Symposium on Bioinformatics Research and Applications

May 13-May 16, 2009

Nova Southeastern University

Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, USA

The International Symposium on Bioinformatics Research and Applications (ISBRA) provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and results among researchers, developers, and practitioners working on all aspects of bioinformatics and computational biology and their applications. The first three editions enjoyed a great success. Full versions of selected ISBRA papers have been published in special issues of Springer LNCS Transactions on Computational Systems Biology, IEEE Transactions on NanoBioscience, and IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics.

ISBRA 2009 proceedings will be published in the Springer Verlag Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics series. As in previous years, a special issue of IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics will be devoted to extended versions of best symposium papers.
