Accommodations

Nathan Hale Inn & Conference Center

A block of rooms has been reserved for ISBRA participants at the Nathan Hale Inn & Conference Center, which is located on campus within a five minute walking distance to the symposium meeting rooms. You must make your reservations by April 23, 2010 to be guaranteed the discounted group rate of $119+tax single/$129+tax double; reservation after this date will be based upon hotel availability. The above rates includes hotel parking, and a $10 breakfast credit to use in the hotel's Blue Oak Restaurant each morning per person.

To reserve a room, contact the hotel front desk at (860) 427-7888 and let the reservation clerk know that you are attending the ISBRA symposium. Payment for lodging should be made directly to the hotel and is not part of the conference registration process.

University Residence Hall - South Campus

As a cost-savings alternative, we have also reserved a block of rooms at the South Campus Residence Hall, which is adjacent to the hotel, and within a five minute walking distance to the symposium meeting rooms. The residence hall is setup "suite-style" with two bedrooms, a common living room and bathroom that is shared by two guests. Each guest will have his/her own bedroom with a single bed, linens, telephone, and Internet service. These dorm rooms are air-conditioned, but do not have any of the traditional amenities you will find in the hotel (such as maid service, alarm clocks, hair dryers, irons, coffee makers, etc.) Calling cards must be used to dial long-distance from the residence halls. If you select this option, you can identify a suite mate, otherwise one will be assigned for you.

Guests who wish to stay in the residence hall must register for this option and pre-pay along with other fees as part of the conference registration process ($56 per person per night for single occupancy, $45 per person per night for double occupancy).

Last day to register and pre-pay for Residence Halls: May 7, 2010
