The University of Connecticut Storrs Campus is located in the northeast corner of Connecticut, off of Interstate 84. The University is within driving distance of several major cities: Hartford (27 mi), Providence, RI (54 mi), New Haven (62 mi), Boston (84 mi), and New York City (140 mi).

Getting to Storrs from BDL

We have arranged for 3 shuttles from BDL to Storrs leaving from BDL at 3pm, 5pm, and 7pm on Sunday May 23, and 3 shuttles from Storrs to BDL leaving from Storrs on Wednesday May 26 at 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm. If you want to use any of these shuttles you should prepay $25 per person each way during the registration process.

Last day to sign-up and pre-pay for the conference airport shuttle service was Sunday, May 16, 2010.

If above times do not suit your travel plans you can use the UConn Airport Shuttle for $50 per person each way (paid to the driver by cash or check). Make your reservation at least one week in advance by using the online request form.

Taxis are available outside the baggage claim area at the airport. If there are no taxis at the airport please go to the Ground Transportation desk and they can arrange a taxi for you (one way fare is about $85).

Driving Directions

From the West (heading through or from Hartford): Take Interstate 84 East to Exit 68. From exit, take a right onto Route 195, 7 miles to UConn.

From the East (heading from Boston toward Hartford): Take Interstate 84 West to Exit 68. From exit, take a left onto Route 195, and follow directions above.

From the Southeast: Interstate 95 to 395 North. Take Exit 81 West to Route 32 North. Follow Route 32 North to Willimantic. In town, turn right and go over bridge. Continue straight through the light and follow 195 North for 8 miles to campus.
