Systems Integrated Modeling and Simulation (SIMS) Lab
The SIMS lab, headed by Professor Xiaolin Hu, is interested in both fundamental research and applications of computer modeling and simulation. Research interests include modeling and simulation theory and application, agent and multi-agent systems, complex systems science, and model-based development. We develop modeling and simulation solutions for a wide range of problems, covering computer science and interdisciplinary research areas such as ecological science, social science and public health modeling and simulation. Our current research is sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF), and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
