Objectives This seminar course is intended to provide a general introduction to some research issues in the field of sensor networks. Through reading some selected papers and in-class discussions, students will gain general knowledge about challenges and state-of-the-art research in sensor networks. The students will also learn how to critically read papers and conduct research.
Instruction Method All the students are required to read two papers each week and one student is responsible for presenting these two papers and leading a discussion in class as a Discussion Leader (DL). Each presentation will last up to 90 minutes including the discussion. The DL is required to prepare the slides and email the slides to the instructor one day prior the presentation date.
