GSU ACM Mailing List Instructions
A new GSU ACM mailing list has been implemented. The list will be used to notify members of upcoming events and other important announcements. We took the liberty of automatically subscribing those members who were active at the time the list was created.
GSU ACM Announce List
The acm-announce list is a low traffic public mailing list for keeping track of public meetings and events sponsored by the Georgia State chapter of the Association of Computing Machinery. Subscribers cannot post to this list. GSU ACM members will automatically be subscribed to this list upon joining our chapter.
GSU ACM Discussion List
The acm-discuss list is one of the greatest opportunities for members to communicate among themselves regarding technical issues ,concerns of hot topics in computer industry. All requests associated with the mailing list should be sent to listproc@listproc.gsu.edu. Make sure each request appears in the body of the message, not the subject. ListProc will ignore requests appearing in the Subject field. In fact, there is no need to put anything as the subject. If your e-mail software will not allow this, try putting a period (.) or other single character as the subject.
