Course Content:   Logic design, combinational and sequential circuits, input-output devices, memory, processors, controllers, parallel architectures, bit-slicing, and reduced instruction sets.

Prerequisites:             CSC 3210 (formerly CSC 343)

 

Withdrawals:              The last day for regular withdrawal is Friday March, 2000.

 

Requirements:            Students are expected to attend all classes.  Regular completion of all assignments, quizzes and tests is absolutely essential to succeed in this course.

 

Grading:                     The course grade will be derived from quizzes (1/3), assignments, (1/3), and a final exam (1/3).

 

Other policy: 

·          Make-up’s or missed deadlines must be coordinated prior, and are allowed only at the discretion of the instructor.

·          All material submitted for grade must be the student’s own work.

·          Collaboration is allowed prior to preparation of actual material that is submitted for grade.
