1. Table of Latest Contents (20 chapters)
2. Author Guide (you may use either LaTeX
Macros for Monograph Books or Microsoft
Word Authoring Templates for STM Books to prepare your chapter. A
chapter may have about 18-22 single-space pages in Latex or about 35-45
double-space pages in MS-Word. Each figure (Table) should be numbered to the
chapter. For example, for Chapter 14, it should read figure 14.1 (Table 14.1),
figure 14.2 (Table 14.2), figure 14.3 (Table 14.3)......not figure 1 (Table 1),
figure 2 (Table 2), etc...)
More Author Guide:
(0) Publisher’s editors mention: “it is
significantly important for each author to do their best to provide the most up
to date references possible”. So please include latest relevant
references in recent years.
(1) The LaTex
macros and the Word macros do not follow the same style files, as they do not
look the same when printed. The LaTex macros
are a Wiley standard design, while the Word macros are a simple design.
You are only required to send your chapter in one of these two forms. If
you provide the LaTex files, please use the
"draft" mode, which gives the manuscript in a double-spaced format,
which is necessary for copyediting.
(2) The Production Editor’s
notes:
(2.1) It is
not necessary to include an abstract and keywords at the beginning of the
chapter. These items will not be printed in the final version of the
book.
(2.2) Wiley does not use the
Ampersand character (&) in the content of a manuscript. Please spell
out the word "and".
(2.3) When creating your figures
(i.e. Figure 3.6), it is not necessary to put the box around the figure.
Also, rule weights for boxes must be at least .50. This is true for all
fonts and lines in figures (hairline rules do not print).
(2.4) All references must include
the city where the book was published to immediately follow the publishing
company. A reference should be cited in the text by number, such as [1][4-6].
(2.5) For Chapter, references should
be listed in the order they are cited, not in alphabetical order according to
author last name.
