Computational Biology (BIOCOMP'09)

In recent years, information technology has played an
important role in complex biomedical applications such as bioinformatics and
health informatics. The special session on information technology in biology
and health of the 2009
International Conference on Bioinformatics & Computational Biology
(BIOCOMP'09) will provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to present
the state-of-the-art of information techniques for solving real problems in
biology and human health. Papers related to broad areas in information
techniques and their applications in biology and health are welcomed.

Publication
The conference proceedings/book will be
published in printed form (with International Standard Book Number/ISBN). The proceedings
will be available for distribution at the conference. The proceedings will be
sent to all major Computer Science Bibliography and indexing databases for
inclusion consideration (such as: DBLP, IEE Inspec, ...). The extended versions of papers (after
the conference) will be published by Springer. All these papers would then end
up in Compendex EI, and many others.
