Finally, Viber team has answered the questions that were asked by its users since about two years now. Last week, the news made headlines among multiple tech news sources that Viber has launched Viber app for PC and Mac operating systems. If you have been a Viber fan who wanted to use it on your PC or Mac laptops and computers, you had to go through a bunch of hoops to get Viber working on your computer. Viber is the first App ported to Computer

We are glad that Viber has chosen to launch their app for laptops and PCs, which makes them the first app to do so. While we have talked about getting apps such as WhatsApp for PC, there is no official app by WhatsApp or any other of the android apps that make messaging worldwide a cinch. Getting Viber to work on your laptop will need you to first activate it on your mobile phone device. This is the most stupid thing a company can do. Why would they mandate you to have it on your mobile before you could use it on your computer. Anyways, if you are still looking for Viber on your PC without getting it on your phone, you could do it via our tutorial.

Requirements to get Viber

If you want to get Viber then you can download it from the links below. However, it requires you to first have Viber on your Phone. If you have it on your phone then you can simply enter your phone number. Now here is a catch. Viber requires that you must have updated Viber software on your phone. This way they will verify that you are indeed a Viber user. Once you approve that, you are good to continue using your account on your PC as well.

A lot of people have asked us if they can use Viber from both their phones and PCs, which was not possible earlier with the Android emulator. However, it should be possible now. After the successful installation of Angry birds for PC, our readers have ordered us to prepare a tutorial for Subway Surfers for PC so that they can install it and play Subway Surfers on their computers. Subway Surfers is a game where the players keep running endlessly in and around a subway (train) track. 1. The first thing before we go on to download the Subway surfers app on PC is to download the prerequisite. Click on the button below to Download.

2. The next step is to download the emulator software on your PC so that you can fool your PC into thinking that it is an Android smartphone. You can download the software from here. This is similar to what we have been doing for apps such as Viber for PC.
3. Once you have the Bluestacks app installed on your PC, just click on search button for PC. Skip the next 3 steps and jump to step 7 for Mac.
4. Enter “Subway Surfers” and let it search.
5. Click on the first link that appears. Bluestacks will now search for Subway Surfers on various app stores.
6. Click on any of the search results and it will install Subway surfer on the Bluestacks. Please remember that this is a large app and hence might take some time based on your Internet connection. It is about 25 MB in size.
7. For Mac OSX you can download the apk file for the Subway Surfers. The official website does not offer the apk so you will have to rely on unofficial links which we will not put here. We recommend you to double check before you download. Sometimes these sites have bad apks that can harm your emulator.
8. Go back to the main page and you will see the app in the list of installed apps.
9. Just click on the app and instantly start playing your favorite game. Remember that you should discipline yourself on how much time you spent on such games.

Angry Birds for PC Tutorial

1. In order to get Angry birds on your computer or laptop you first need to install two softwares – mapgalaxy and my pc backup.
   Download this first and then this, install both.
2. Once you have installed the above software you need to install Bluestacks. You can download it here. Remember this process will also help you install other similar apps for PCs such as fruit ninja for PC or temple run for pc.
3. Install Bluestacks and click on the search icon on the top right corner of the window. Bluestacks will take long time to load especially the first time so please be patient.
4. Search for Angry birds and when the search results come click on any one. There are different versions so if you do not want the basic version, you can try the other ones.
5. Select the app from one of the stores that are shown to you when you click on the search result. There is no difference in the app, it is just that you have the option to pick the one you like the most or going by the lesser of two evil proverb, the one you hate the least.
6. The underlying app is not going to change so do not worry about this choice much.
7. Click on Install the app and let it download on your emulator. Once it has been downloaded (29 MB) and installed you can click on the home button on Bluestacks.
8. The app Angry birds should be listed there – usually on the top as it start with A and alphabetically arranged it comes usually first.
9. Click on the app and see if it works for you. It should work as it did for me in the first trial. If it does not please uninstall everything and follow the steps in order. If you screw up the order you might not be able to get the same behavior as I did.

How to register again multiple times

Remember that Rebtel only allows one registration per phone number. So once you have registered your phone number with them, there is no direct way to register again. However, you can follow the steps below to register as many times as you want.

1. Go to Google Voice and register using your Gmail id. You will need to verify your cell or home phone to be able to get a new number from Google Voice.
2. Go to the Rebtel offer page  and register using your Google Voice number. You will be able to get $30 talk time when you purchase another $10 credit. If you are going to make calls from your App then you are all set. Otherwise you will have to add your original number to this Rebtel account before you can make calls from your phone using this account.
3. Now you have already created two accounts, one using your own number and other one using Google Voice. We want to create unlimited accounts but there is a $10 fee to change Google voice number. However, creating a new account is free.
4. Delete your current Google voice account. This will release your number.
5. You can follow steps 1 through 4 to get as many accounts as you want. Each account gets you $20 free.

How many accounts should you create?

You do not want to create too many or too few accounts. The Rebtel credit expires if you do not use your account for 365 consecutive days. On the other hand, this offer might not come next year so you should at least cover yourself for a year. I would suggest you to load up enough credit that will last you for a year as Rebtel launches this offer every year. There is hardly anyone who hasn’t heard of Instagram today. It is a revolutionary social networking service that allows its users to share pictures. In order to download Instagram on your PC or laptop computer, you can follow the steps given below. If you are having trouble following any of the steps just let me know and I will help you guys. The exact steps to get Instagram are:

1. 2. Download and install a backup software on your PC.

3. Download the android emulator software from this link.
4. Open the Android emulator and click on App Search (on PC). In order to download Instagram for Mac we suggest you watch one of our previous tutorials such as WhatsApp for PC and it will give you a good understanding of how to download Instagram on Mac computers.
5. Search for Instagram.
6. If you get the error “Network connection refused” or Not connected to the Internet, just restart the Bluestacks App player again. It should work after that.
7. Download Instagram and run it. It should be in the list on the front page when you hit the small Bluestacks button.
8. Register or sign in – You can use your facebook credentials to login as well.
9. Once you have logged in you will see the familiar App that millions of people are using. Please note that the interface is exactly the same as the Android app as this is in fact Instagram for Android.
10. Check out various options to get acquainted with the interface.
11. Finally, click on the camera icon. If you have a webcam it will show up and you will be able to take a picture.
12. As soon as you see the pictures you will be able to apply filters (image effects) on the image you just took. In my video above I took an image of a bottle of Advil :) but trust me it was not a pain to get Instagram for PC.

The app Talking Tom has been in market for several years now. The versions are kept updated constantly. The latest update is of December 9, 2012. The creator of this amazing talking app, Outfit7 is a Cyprus based startup. Launched on June 27th, 2010, Talking Tom has been already downloaded more than 40 million times. Go to Intel Appup website and download the Talking Tom for PC Installer. The screen will look like the following.

Click on Download now bar on the left hand side. A file of 39.99 MB will be downloaded on your system.  Grant the permission and let the install finish.

 

After the installation is complete you will be taken to the Intell AppUp app. Click on Talking Tom App icon.

If you do not already have the login ID , please register via email or  your facebook, yahoo or google account.

Give permission to install the app.

After the download step, the app will be installed:
