Course Content: "History of computers, hardware components, operating systems, application software, data communication." (1998 - 1999 GSU Catalog description).

A detailed course schedule is also provided that indicates specific daily references and other critical dates. Obviously, some deviations may be necessary.

 Corequisite: High school algebra II.

 Withdrawals: The last day for regular withdrawal is Friday, October 15.

 Course Requirements: Students are expected to attend all classes! Plus, regular completion of all reading, homework, and other outside assignments is absolutely essential for success in this course.

 Course Grades: The overall course grade will be derived from quizes (1/3); homework (1/3); and a final exam (1/3).

 Other Policy:

Make-ups must be arranged prior, but are strictly at the discretion of the instructor.

Plagiarism and cheating on exams will not be tolerated!
