Dr. Zhipeng Cai received his PhD and M.S. degree in Department of Computing Science at University of Alberta, and B.S. degree from Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Beijing Institute of Technology. Dr. Cai is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Georgia State University. Prior to joining GSU, Dr. Cai  was a research faculty in the CAP group in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Cai's research areas focus on algorithm design in networking and bioinformatics. His current projects include designing routing protocols and algorithms in cognitive radio network and developing computational and machine learning models in system biology.
