Academic advisement is an essential component of an education at Georgia State. Depending on academic status, students should seek advisement as follows:
- Freshman through Junior (0–89 credit hours). Students are assigned an advisor in the University Advisement Center (UAC).
- Senior (90+ credit hours). Students should seek advisement from the Office of Academic Assistance (OAA) in the College of Arts and Sciences.
For general information about advisement, visit the Student Advising website for the College of Arts and Sciences.
For questions directly related to computer science classes, students should contact Dr. Xiaolin Hu. All emails should include your Panther ID #.
For advisement regarding transfer credit, please send an email to Dr. Xiaolin Hu. Include the following information:
- Name and Panther ID #
- List of courses (name and course #) at previous institution to be considered for transfer credit
- Course descriptions and/or syllabi for courses being considered
